One-stop medical clinics

This three-part series highlights a shift in healthcare.

Instead of seeing multiple specialists, patients see a Primary Physician for their most pressing concern (say diabetes). Supported by a Care Coordinator, the patient’s other medical needs - such as nutrition, foot care or other ailments - are also managed within the same clinic. This means fewer visits, more seamless care and improved doctor-patient relationships.

It’s a profound shift. Where disease specialists takes on a wider role of internal medicine to care holistically and care becomes person- rather than disease-focused.
