Design for Health

The universal guiding principle in medicine, ‘do no harm’, applies not only to the delivery of healthcare, but in every aspect of what Yishun Health does as an organisation. From its early days at Alexandra Hospital, it began greening its grounds with aim to create a truly healing environment.

This three-part series explores the ways in which Yishun Health was located, designed and greened.

In their every day activities, they also strive each day to minimise the environmental impact of their daily operations, all the while, ensuring that patient care and safety is never compromised.
